We were recently commissioned to construct a glass display case to house a wedding cake.
This display cabinet is constructed of 10mm low iron glass for the sides, 6mm low iron glass for the door and 6mm mirror on the back and the base.
We use a low iron glass for optimum clarity. The glass is bonded together using UV adhesives. The finished bond is highly transparent in appearance, with the bond being stronger than the glass itself
The hinges used are made of brushed steel and this product is equipped with a damper with a spring closing mechanism. These too are bonded onto the glass.
