Reynaers SL38 Windows and Exlabesa ECW50 Curtain Walling Installation at Smurfit Westrock
Our latest project at Smurfit Westrock in Mold involved a complete Reynaers SL38 windows and Exlabesa ECW50 curtain walling installation, showcasing a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and sustainable performance. This installation not only boosts the building’s energy efficiency but also enhances its overall look, making it ideal for businesses prioritising sustainable upgrades.
Slimline, High-Insulation Reynaers SL38 Windows
The Reynaers SL38 windows used in this project feature a slimline profile with high insulation, designed for contemporary projects focused on style and energy efficiency. We powder-coated these profiles in RAL 5015 Sky Blue, giving the façade a fresh, modern appeal.
Sustainable Solar Shading Glass
For glazing, we selected Cool-Lite SKN 176 solar shading glass. This sustainable glass balances natural light with reduced solar gain, ensuring comfortable interiors throughout the year.
Customised Exlabesa ECW50 Curtain Walling
The Exlabesa ECW50 curtain walling system complements the Reynaers windows with its robust design and clean lines. Powder-coated in the same RAL 5015 Sky Blue, this curtain walling integrates seamlessly with the windows, creating a cohesive, modern aesthetic. It includes an integrated fire exit door and an automatic main entrance door, ensuring both safety and accessibility.
🌿 Environmentally Responsible Installation at Smurfit Westrock! 🌿
In our latest project, we removed all existing curtain walling and windows, recycling the glass using our in-house Cullet Crushing Machine. This sustainable approach was an important factor for Smurfit Westrock when discussing the project, as they are deeply committed to reducing their environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices throughout their operations.
Sustainability is integral to Smurfit Westrock’s mission. They focus on minimising waste, conserving resources, and implementing eco-friendly solutions in all aspects of their business. The recycled glass from this project will be reused in new float glass production, saving approximately 920kg of CO₂ emissions.
This recycling process reflects our shared commitment to sustainability, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Together, we’re building a greener future! 🌍
